AREA OPERATIONS MANAGER

Central Vancouver Island

Dietzel International, Hospitality Recruitment is searching for a Regional-Multi-Unit Operations Manager.

This Brand is the fastest growing fast food chain in Canada.

This position will oversee 8 restaurants on Central Vancouver Island. 

We are looking for an Area Manager who believes in maintaining a culture and environment that encourages teamwork, pride and a winning attitude. This position is responsible for directing a group of company-owned restaurants. The company is currently growing and is looking to hire a passionate, bright, energetic Area Manager who has exceptional leadership skills, great financial and problem-solving proficiencies, demonstrated commitment to guest service and is results oriented.

The position reports directly to the President and offers great career opportunities within the company. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall responsibility for strategic and operational directions to multi-unit restaurants and achieving financial the targets as set by the annual budget plans;

Provides guidance, support to the Restaurant Managers in the management of the key operational parameters by making use of the company’s internal systems and procedures;

Builds a strong climate of customer service excellence by providing constant feedback, monitoring the training, and identifying team members ready for advancement;

Ensures strict adherence to the company’s internal control policies;

Perform weekly restaurants audits and locations visits;

Interfaces effectively with all levels of internal staff and external stakeholders and promotes the brand in the community;

Maintains and demonstrates professional work ethics, moral integrity and positive attitude.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 3-5 years experience either as a Restaurant Manager or an Area Manager or a combination of formal training and experience in QSR or casual dining

Willing to re-locate to Vancouver Island

Excellent understanding of restaurant operational controls and financial statements

Processes a winning attitude and a proven record of training and developing a team

Proven ability to work well under pressure, and solution oriented

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

College or University degree a definite asset but not required

Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
