We are looking for a talented, trend-conscious Restaurant Chef with a hands-on management approach and a background in fine dining cuisine. The right candidate must be motivated, team oriented and have a passion for excellent cuisine!

Position Description: 

The Restaurant Chef reports to the General Manager,

and is responsible for the overall operation of the culinary department. This leadership position works effectively within the Hotel/Restaurant team environment towards the goals of operational execution, customer service and employee satisfaction.

The Restaurant Chef will maintain high standards of food quality and service. Responsibilities include total food production systems, including purchasing, menu developing. Also responsible for hiring, training and development of culinary staff.

Qualifications:

 • 5 years culinary management experience in busy, upscale dining operation.

 Culinary certification/schooling through a recognized institution required.• Strong leadership qualities with a high ability for culinary craftsmanship, effective decision-making and directing of staff diplomatically.
• Comprehension of local culinary trends
• Respectful approach and demeanor.
• Outstanding organizational skills and highly proficient at multi-tasking.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Demonstrated excellent Customer relations.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a team environment
