Q: What if I already have a Human Resources Manager who does all of my hiring?
A: The modern Human Resources Managers are responsible for many in-house tasks These may include: orientation, training, retention, payroll, counselling, performance evaluations, labor law, policy and procedures, benefits, wage and salary administration, workers compensation/ADA, staff supervision, advertising and recruitment.

Q: Why not advertise instead of using a search firm?
A: Advertising is expensive and you pay whether you find the person or not. Also, it only reaches individuals who are currently looking for a job. We have found that candidates who are employed, are often concerned about confidentiality,and often reluctant to respond to ads.
Q: How long will it take to find us the “right” person?
A: As fast as 1 week. We will generally have our list of qualified candidates ready for your consideration within 7 to 10 business days. However under normal circumstances usually 6 to 8 weeks is the average duration of time from our first contact with you, until you hire your new candidate.
Q: What kind of positions will you search for?
A: We will assist you in staffing your culinary and hospitality management positions.
Q: What does it cost?
A: We work on a contingency basis, so the charge for our services is payable only if the candidate is hired and is due in full within the first 10 days of the candidate’s employment. Our fees are based on a percentage of the hired candidate’s first year’s compensation. Fee percentages vary due to the complexity of the assignment and/or the number of placements required. Average between 10% and 20%.
Q: Do we have to pay for your services if we don’t select the candidate you send us to interview?
A: No. Fees are not charged until you hire your new candidate.
Q: Is there a Placement Guarantee?
A: Yes. Our placements are guaranteed for 365 days. Should either you or the hired candidate terminate the employment relationship prior to the expiration of the guarantee period then we will replace that person or will extend a percentage credit to you (as per the terms of our agreement/fee schedule).
Q: We are looking to replace someone, but they are currently employed with us. Can I use your service confidentially?
A: Yes. A high degree of confidentiality will be maintained as it protects both parties.
