Working on a cruise ship is definitely a different lifestyle. It does give you the opportunity to travel the world and to meet many interesting people. But be aware you are not on a vacation! Contracts are usually 5 months on, with 7 Day work weeks, and 2 months off. You will be expected to work 10 hours per day mostly working split-shifts.

You need to have excellent People Skills and be a great communicator. You will be working with management and staff from around the globe. To be a Team player is essential.

Although you are working hard, there are some opportunities to go ashore and explore sites.
